This is the big final for the book cover wars for 2012/13 - are you ready to vote?
Over the last four weeks, different authors and illustrators have battled for their book covers to be voted into the grand final. As a result, we now have four worthy winners who have the chance to be crowned with the title 'Mr Ripley's Enchanted book cover of the year'. So without any further waiting, let the final battle of horror commence . . . .
A big thanks to all the authors and illustrators who have got behind their book cover and for the enjoyable banter that we have had with you all.
A big thanks also to everyone who has voted - around 2000 votes have been cast over the last four heats! The last heat was a real battle with only one vote between two book covers.

Love all covers from the Escape from Furnace series, but Execution is definitely the creepiest. It's my favorite cover. :)
It was a hard choice between book 1 and book 2. But I love the colors and creepiness of Execution.
Voted! Fun to watch from the side without the stomach churning terror! :-)
Voted for KOTW! I hope Derek & Tom win!
Voted!^^
Difficult choice, but I'm loyal to Skulduggery Pleasant. Tom Percival is a genius (:
Voted. x
Voted. Just had to be Execution for me. I think the US publishers have done a much better job with the covers than Faber did over here. Is this one a Fuenfhausen or a Garkusha design?
They're all amazing! I had to ask my husband to make my choice for me :-)
There's no choice here - Execution by miles. It deserved to win the heat I was in and it deserves to win this. Best cover I've seen in a long time.
Department 19: Battle Lines. Definitely. FIRE! FIRE!
Department 19 without a doubt. A lot of people don't see the brilliance in the covers of the Department 19 book but I think they're some of the best I've ever seen.
Don't know if my last comment came up, but defiantly battle lines.
Voted! Execution :)
Of course I voted execution.
Execution gets my vote by long shot. Such a good series and great cover art.
Voted. <3 Good luck to all!
Haunters - I like how the white sweep gives the disconnect
Haunters! I like the grayscale and the fixed look.
i just love the Execution: Escape from Furnace cover, very real and scary!

Loved the cover of Kingdom of the Wicked when the book arrived at home by mail. Voted for it :)
All the covers are great! So much talent! But I had to choose one. It was very difficult.
They are all so fabulous!
Once again it just has to be Skulduggery!
Definitely Escape From Furnace! Color scheme was perfect for a spine chilling affect!
Escape from Furnace all the way!
Have to give my vote to Execution! Amazing cover and book!
Haunters for me. It's scarey yet somehow wistful at the same time.
My vote goes to Kingdom of the Wicked!
Kingdom of the Wicked by Derek Landy! These books are amazing!
Skulduggery Pleasant KOTW all the way!! Tom Percival is an amazing artist and Derek Landy is a wonderful writer; KOTW
Definitely Execution. It both made me look and want to look away. Genius.
